Itinerary
Your day begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or preferred location in Nairobi as you travel towards Limuru, enjoying the changing scenery and cool highland landscape along the way. Upon arrival at Kiambethu Tea Farm, settle into the tranquil farm environment before beginning a guided walk through the tea fields. Learn how tea is cultivated, harvested and processed while discovering the history of the farm and its long-standing connection with Kenya’s tea industry. The experience continues with a walk through the indigenous forest, where your guide introduces you to the area’s native plants and trees while keeping an eye out for monkeys, birds and other wildlife that inhabit the forest.
After exploring the farm and forest, return to the farmhouse for a relaxed farm-style lunch prepared using fresh local ingredients. Enjoy the meal in the beautiful garden setting before having time to unwind, take photographs and appreciate the surrounding tea-covered hills.
