Overview

Experience the highlights of northern Tanzania on a 5-day safari covering Tarangire National Park and Serengeti National Park. The safari combines excellent wildlife viewing, scenic landscapes and full-day game drives, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and many other species depending on seasonal conditions and animal movements.

Day 01 :

ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from Arusha and a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. After entering the park, enjoy a game drive through the savannah plains and along the Tarangire River, where animals often gather around the available water sources. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and a variety of bird species, with possible sightings of lions and other predators. Enjoy lunch during the day before continuing with an afternoon game drive and later proceed to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 02 :

TARANGIRE – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue towards the Serengeti, entering the park and beginning a game drive as you make your way towards your accommodation. Depending on the time and animal movements, you may encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and predators such as lions and cheetahs. Continue to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 03 :

FULL-DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains and abundant wildlife, offering opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and numerous bird species. Your guide will select suitable areas based on current wildlife movements and seasonal conditions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your wildlife exploration until later in the afternoon, then return to your accommodation.

Day 04 :

SERENGETI – FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE

Enjoy another full day in the Serengeti with an early morning game drive when wildlife is often active. Explore different areas of the park in search of predators and large herbivore herds, with the possibility of witnessing interactions between different species depending on the day's sightings. After breakfast or a picnic breakfast, continue with game viewing and enjoy lunch during the safari before an afternoon game drive. Later, return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 05 :

SERENGETI – ARUSHA

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, allowing you to make the most of your last opportunity for wildlife viewing. Depart the park and begin the journey back to Arusha, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon or early evening, where your safari ends with drop-off at your hotel, airport or another agreed location.
