Day 01 :

Nairobi – Solio Game Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north towards the Laikipia region, enjoying the changing scenery as you approach the foothills of Mount Kenya. Arrive at Solio in time for lunch before settling in and taking some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive through the reserve, with the main focus on finding the rhinos that have made Solio famous. Along the way, you may encounter buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, elephants and a variety of plains game, while predators such as lions and leopards may also be spotted. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a scenic sundowner before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 02 :

Full-Day Solio Game Reserve Experience

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active, giving you another opportunity to search for rhinos and observe the reserve as it comes alive. Return for breakfast before continuing with a full-day Solio experience that can include additional game drives and, subject to availability and conditions, a guided bush walk. Learn more about the reserve's wildlife and conservation work while exploring the diverse Laikipia landscape. After lunch and some relaxation, venture out again in the afternoon for more wildlife viewing before enjoying a sundowner in the wilderness. If available, finish the day with a night wildlife experience, offering a different perspective of Solio after dark.

Solio Game Reserve – Nairobi

After breakfast and check out before beginning your journey back to Nairobi.Enjoy one final early morning game drive, giving you a last chance to spot rhinos and other wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kenya. Travel through the scenic landscapes of Laikipia and arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your Solio wildlife and conservation experience.
