From the iconic rhino country of Ol Pejeta Conservancy to the breathtaking wilderness of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, this safari combines exceptional wildlife viewing with intimate camp experiences and unique conservation encounters. Search for the Big Five, encounter endangered rhinos and Grevy’s zebra, visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and explore Lewa on game drives and guided walks. With fewer vehicles and a strong focus on conservation, this is an ideal safari for travellers who want to experience a different side of Kenya beyond the traditional safari routes.

Day 01 :

Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north towards the Laikipia region, with beautiful views of Mount Kenya along the way. Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy and check into your camp or lodge before lunch. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive through the conservancy, searching for elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and rhinos. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and learn about the conservation work protecting rescued chimpanzees. As the day comes to an end, enjoy a scenic sundowner before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 02 :

Ol Pejeta – Wildlife & Conservation Experience

Start the morning with an early game drive when wildlife is most active. Explore Ol Pejeta's open plains while looking for its famous rhino population and other wildlife. Depending on availability, enjoy a special conservation experience such as a northern white rhino visit or another behind-the-scenes conservation activity. Return to camp for lunch and some relaxation before an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets over the conservancy, return to camp for dinner and an evening in the Laikipia wilderness.

Day 03 :

Ol Pejeta – Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta and continue north towards Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Arrive at your luxury camp in time for lunch and settle into your surroundings. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive through Lewa, one of Kenya's most important wildlife conservation landscapes. Look out for black and white rhinos, Grevy's zebra, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife as you explore the conservancy. Return to camp for a sundowner followed by dinner.

Day 04 :

Lewa – Wildlife Experience – Nairobi

After breakfast check out, depending on the selected camp and availability, choose between a morning game drive or a guided walking safari with an experienced ranger. Explore the conservancy at a slower pace while learning about its wildlife, landscapes and conservation work, before beginning your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your Laikipia conservation adventure.
