Overview

Experience two of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations on this 4-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari. Journey through the endless plains of the Serengeti, famous for its incredible wildlife and the Great Migration, before exploring the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas. This safari is ideal for travellers with limited time who want to experience Tanzania’s legendary wildlife, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

Day 01 :

ARUSHA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha and departure towards Serengeti National Park. Travel through the scenic Tanzanian countryside and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before continuing towards the Serengeti. Upon entering the park, begin your game drive as you make your way towards your accommodation, exploring the vast savannah plains in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife before continuing to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 02 :

FULL-DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti with a packed picnic lunch. Spend the day exploring the park's wildlife-rich plains and searching for large predators and plains game, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. Your experienced driver-guide will select the best areas for wildlife viewing based on seasonal conditions and animal movements, allowing you to make the most of your time in the Serengeti before returning to your accommodation in the evening.

Day 03 :

SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue through the changing Tanzanian landscapes as you travel towards the Ngorongoro highlands, with opportunities for wildlife viewing along the route. Arrive in the Ngorongoro or Karatu area, check in at your accommodation and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure before dinner.

Day 04 :

NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Explore the crater floor, which provides excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and other wildlife, with a chance of spotting the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari.
